Project management of drilling and completions operations throughout Canada, the United States and abroad. Extensive experience in directional wells and specifically horizontal wells having been involved in several thousand such wells including abnormally pressured, corrosive and high temperature environments. Horizontal wells include heavy oil with or without a thermal application, conventional oil, conventional gas, under-balanced horizontal oil, under-balanced horizontal gas, conventional horizontal gas storage, under-balanced horizontal gas storage, over-balanced horizontal sour, under-balanced horizontal sour, unconventional horizontal tight gas, and horizontal re-entry wells over and under-balanced.

Preparation of workover and completion programs, pumping well optimization, horizontal well planning, budget and objective setting, abandonments, wellsite supervision, acquisition and trades.

Property Consolidation Task Force - Calgary (February 1989 - September 1990) 

Researched and marketed non-strategic properties. Responsible for economic evaluation, sale recommendations and negotiations.

While working within a team setting (3 engineers, 3 land people), had highest level of sales for 1989.

Accomplished this while being by far the most junior person in the group.

Exposed to Gas Marketing, Joint Interest, Land, Regulatory and Legal.

Reservoir Engineering - Calgary (March 1988 - February 1990)

Handled all Reservoir Engineering responsibilities within Peace River and Sierra, B.C. area.

Performed reservoir engineering studies, reserve survey calculation, evaluated and proposed development opportunities.

Developed 26.5 Bcf reserves and two additional drilling locations in Pocket Knife.

Facilities Engineering - Whitecourt/Rainbow Lake (June 1986 - March 1988)

Assignments included Lead Plant Engineer for the Rainbow Lake miscible recycling plant, a 250 MMscf/d sour gas plant and a cycling plant.
